A portrait of a family and of Jovan (John), its youngest member and black sheep. The entire story takes place in just one day, in one apartment, during the celebration of the beheading of St. John the Baptist. Jovan’s parents are hiding the fact that they are getting divorced from their son and their guests, and Jovan is hiding from them that he is using drugs while hoping that aliens will save him from the hopeless and meaningless existence on Earth.

Milica, not intimidated by much, chooses the seat next to Jovan and immediately enlists him to help her free her father from his girlfriend, whom she is convinced is a witch who has placed her father under a spell.

Willing to prove his manhood to his handsome buddies, Marko tries to find a girl. In the encounter with a victim of a past sexual trauma he discovers an aggressive part of himself.

11 year old Ivica is an explorer of the small world around him, a world of industrial wastelands and uncertain terrain. A world that is still less strange than the drama that unfolds in his own home.
