Satoko is a 15-year-old junior high school student. After a brief encounter with herclassmate Hayase at the ENT clinic, she begins to write a story sparked by herfeelings for him. Satoko is a 35-year-old working at a film publicity company. After being stabbed bythe wife of her married lover and hospitalized, she starts writing a story. Satoko is a 55-year-old housewife. On the last day of making lunchboxes for herthree sons, she remembers her childhood dream of becoming a writer and beginsto write.

Fukuyama plays the extremely unique protagonist Kamio Takeshi, who has outstanding magic that has made him famous in Las Vegas and a skillful ability to observe people, but is also strict with money and lies as easily as he breathes. Furthermore, Kamio Mayo, the niece of Kamio Takeshi played by Fukuyama, who teams up with Takeshi after her father is killed by someone and works hard to solve the murder case, will be played by top actress Arimura Kasumi, who has brilliantly played a variety of roles from love stories to comedies and period dramas, and whose solid acting skills have captivated people!

With the promise made to their deceased father in his heart, the older brother, Toshiki, has continued to protect his younger sister, Fumiko. Now that Fumiko is getting married, the burden he carried should have finally been lifted, but a long-buried "secret" of Fumiko has resurfaced.

As she approaches her 100th birthday, Setsu is visited in her hospital room by a man who has come to take her away. By God’s grace, she is returned to her younger self and granted the chance to go wherever she wishes. Setsu chooses to travel back eighty years—to tell her husband what she never had the chance to say.

Nobumasa Tsuboi (Yo Oizumi) runs a small factory in a small town. He has a daughter Yoshimi Tsuboi (Riko Fukumoto) who suffers from a congenital heart disease. A doctor tells Nobumasa Tsuboi that his daughter will only live for about 10 more years. Nobumasa Tsuboi is devastated that his daughter won't live past the ago of 20. Nobumasa Tsuboi and his wife Yoko Tsuboi (Miho Kanno) cannot accept the diagnosis. Even though he has no medical knowledge or experience, Nobumasa Tsuboi begins to study about artificial hearts.
