Pedro Almodóvar, the Spanish director with the most international recognition, has impacted spectators all around the world. Among them are Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi. The filmmaker is a reference for both of them, and from that admiration this documentary series is born. Throughout three chapters, we review the life and filmography of the filmmaker, with the participation of actors and collaborators who have been essential to his cinema.

In 1543, at the University of Salamanca, in Spain, Fray Antonio Román, an Augustinian monk who spreads humanist ideas, considered heretical, among his more inquisitive students, a clandestine group of four led by the brilliant novice Luis de León, mysteriously dies in unspeakable circumstances.
