Seventeen-year-old Blake struggles to care for his dying grandfather, the founder of a fading Florida roadside attraction. Plagued by religious guilt, responsibility for his younger brother, and a desperate need to prove he isn’t destined to follow in his father’s violent footsteps, Blake hides his grandfather on the property after a freak accident. As the search for them intensifies, Blake becomes increasingly consumed by guilt and paranoia, convinced he must preserve his grandfather’s life at all costs. But buried family trauma, cosmic forces, and a mysterious tunnel beneath the orange groves begin to unravel Blake’s grip on reality.

MUTE is an animated short about a world populated by people born without mouths.

Nino is a pianist, he runs into Valentina in the underground and falls for her. Valentina is rich but she tells nothing to Nino who is proud. Andrea was the boy of Valentina before Nino and wants to marry her for her money. Nino leaves Valentina when he finds out that she is rich while Andrea, turned down again, kidnaps Valentina.

A dinner party unravels when a tight group of friends agree to leave their phones unlocked on the table, exposing juicy interactions and dark secrets.

The literal English translation of the German-titled film here is "The Hostess of the Lahn." Suzanne (Terry Torday) is the beautiful redhead who runs an inn in the town of Giessen. She is the subject of many inspirational love songs by the student population. The lyrics also reflect the Germans' resentment and hostility toward the French occupation by the army of Napoleon. Suzanne appears in various stages of undress.
