The story of Skip, a young ex-convict who takes a position as a night janitor at an old-west theme park. His supervisor Archie, teaches him the ropes, but more importantly attempts to convey critical philosophical messages through a series of four stories: a down and out boxer is given the opportunity to become a real golden gloves killer; an assassin kidnaps three people in order to find out who hired him for his latest hit; a new recruit is initiated into a lodge of fez-wearing businessmen where hazing can take a malevolent turn; and a member of a suicide club introduces real fear into a man about to jump to his death.

On a day in April 1996, four stories play out in the confines of a flat in the heart of Oslo.

Why do we suffer so much if we're just a flea on the Milky Way's back? That's what Erika wants to find out. She's a teenager with generalized anxiety disorder, and as she gets older she discovers that she doesn't fit in with social norms and lives day after day in anguish trying to discover her own personality, which is why she creates a podcast to understand what she's feeling.

Ten short pieces directed by ten different directors, including Ken Russell, Jean-Luc Godard, Robert Altman, Bruce Beresford, and Nicolas Roeg. Each short uses an aria as soundtrack/sound, and is an interpretation of the particular aria.

Estranged siblings reunite after years apart, forced to confront unresolved tensions and reevaluate their strained relationships with their emotionally distant parents.
