The young aspiring artist gets a place as a teacher of painting on the estate of land-owner Fairlie, where his sisters Marian and Laura become his students. Returning home late in the evening, he unexpectedly meets a strange woman, dressed head-to-toe in white on a deserted road...

But they conceal their true identities from each other. Kendra claims that he works in a social foundation while Selma says that she is a civil servant. But when Selma finally admits that she is an undercover police officer to uncover smuggling cases, tax evasion and mafia gangs, Kendra is shocked. Selma is also shocked to learn the true identity of Kendra. However, Kendra promises Selma that if she ever catches him in a crime, she can arrest him herself.

Hu Bayi and Wang Kaixuan leading an archaeological team organized by Shirley Yang into the depths of the desert to search for the ancient city of Jingjue. After being discharged, Hu Bayi and his friend Wang Kaixuan join an archaeological team heading to Xinjiang. The group endures countless dangers as they finally arrive at the ruins of the ancient city of Jingjue in the Taklamakan Desert. They enter an underground "ghost cave" filled with deadly traps and mechanisms, seemingly controlled by a mysterious prophet.
