Santo vs. Blue Demon in Atlantis

In his first film El Santo was still referred to as ‘El Enmascarado’. Rendered compliant by a scientist and his gangsters via a serum and mysterious rays, he is forced for the opening act to be a henchman for the evil forces who want to take over the world. The film has great historic value, due also to its impressive exterior shots of pre-revolutionary Cuba 1959.

Agent Joaquin recalls his latest mission while lying wounded in an ambulance: Joaquin has infiltrated into a band of smugglers. When the villains learn the truth about him, they kidnap Jouqin's fiancee. Santo comes to her rescue and fights the band.

Tourists visiting the pyramids in Mexico experience a string of deaths and disappearances while staying at a nearby hotel. Police investigators Fernando and Cornado are assigned to the case and attempt to solve the mystery with the help of reporter (and girlfriend of Fernando) Veronica and the wrestler Santo.

Investigators Conrado and Fernando take a leave of the absence from the police force to track down Fernando's girlfriend Virginia. Virginia, a reporter, has left town and is working undercover as a barmaid in order to interview Refugio Canales, a criminal and small town municipal president. Calpuina is a night-watchman in a wharehouse, a perfect job for him.
