The Wrong Trousers

Everyday, the main character, who is confined in a dark room, sees sunlight coming through the window: he flees from the closed place to an infinite one.

Party girl Annie and Gordon, a homeless man, travel through a remote subway tunnel to a different time; to a world where two children are held captive and tormented by bizarre figures. A multilayered animated film which brings to life the dark history of the Canadian residential school system, in which – as recently as the 1990s – First Nations children were being indoctrinated and estranged from their parents and culture.

Every year, thousands of Antarctica's emperor penguins make an astonishing journey to breed their young. They walk, marching day and night in single file 70 miles into the darkest, driest and coldest continent on Earth. This amazing, true-life tale is touched with humour and alive with thrills. When maladjusted orphan Jesse vandalizes a theme park, he is placed with foster parents and must work at the park to make amends. There he meets Willy, a young Orca whale who has been separated from his family. Sensing kinship, they form a bond and, with the help of kindly whale trainer Rae Lindley, develop a routine of tricks. However, greedy park owner Dial soon catches wind of the duo and makes plans to profit from them.
