Ane and Thomas are in the middle of a divorce - when Ane suddenly suffers a stroke. They decide to stay together until Ane gets back on her feet, but as she struggles to return to life, love manifests where they least expected it.

A secretary is found dead in a White House bathroom during an international crisis, and Detective Harlan Regis is in charge of the investigation. With McCabe's escape, the entire hospital becomes a battleground and Connor must pursue and, ironically, protect the deadly fugitive who is his son's only hope for survival.
