Kiss and Cry

A young Spanish exchange student who is on her own for the first time in her life tries to adjust to a vastly different life in Berlin.

Movie star Roxy Carmichael is abandoning the bright lights of Hollywood, Calif. and returning to her small Ohio hometown -- at least long enough to dedicate a city building. And now the whole town of Clyde is bracing for Carmichael's return, most of all her now-married old flame Denton Webb and troubled teen Dinky Bossetti. An orphan with few friends, Dinky is convinced that Carmichael is her birth mother, and that the actress will reclaim her when she returns.

All her life, Lizelle Jimenez has always searched for love. When she met Dr. Adrian Benitez, she couldn’t ask for more. He showered her with love and affection and she has never felt so special. There is one thing Lizelle is struggling with as they live together- fitting in Adrian’s world. Coming from humble beginnings, Lizelle finds it difficult to belong.

Directed and produced by Beth McCarthy-Miller, the concert was held and filmed on July 27, 2003 at Hutchinson Field in the south-side of Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois; over 50,000 people attended. The concert itself differed from that of the Up! Tour (2003–04), featuring a different stage, setlist and production. Behind-the-scenes footage of the singer visiting local landmarks and events was filmed the same week. The concert film premiered on the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) on August 19, 2003. The special was watched by over 8.87 million viewers, becoming the second-most-viewed concert film on television, behind Celine Dion's A New Day... Live in Las Vegas (2003).

An insurance agent, Gloria, finds out she has only three months to live. She quits the job she has always hated and starts to follow her own wish to live.
