Sailor Beware

A young college man and a girl fall in love, but another girl loves the same man, so she tries to get between them by unjustly informing his father about him.

Three young men boycott their fiancées following a dispute between them and them, in an attempt to live without women. They think that by doing so they can live a life full of freedom and enjoy everything, but this life is not right and human nature overpowers them.

Bud Baxter is a minor clerk in a huge New York insurance company, until he discovers a quick way to climb the corporate ladder. He lends out his apartment to the executives as a place to take their mistresses. Although he often has to deal with the aftermath of their visits, one night he's left with a major problem to solve.

A gang of street boys foil a master crook who sends commands for robberies by cunningly altering a comic strip's wording each week, unknown to writer and printer. The first of the Ealing comedies.
