Shirley Yang’s unintended pregnancy brought more pressing pressure to bear on Hu Ba Yi who was trapped in a bloody curse. At the archaeological invitation of Professor Sun, he learned that in the Feng’s historical site opened once per 12 years in Dixian village, there might be corpse pellet that could eliminate the curse. With the help of the mechanism dab Yaomei, the trio of legendary grave robbers entered the mountain again to fight for survival.

The movie takes partridge and Chen Yulous exploration of Pingshan as the background of western Hunan half a century later. It tells the story of Hu Bayi in order to save the poisonous big golden tooth after returning from the Longling Cave, leading the Golden Triangle into the iron triangle. In Pingshan, Xiangxi, the story of searching for the long-lost six-winged centipede in the legend of the rivers and lakes, and obtaining the life-saving inner alchemy.

Hong Kong antique dealer Ming Shu commissions Hu Ba Yi, Wang Kai Xuan and Shirley Yang to look for the glacier corpse within the demonic kingdom from the legends of King Gesar.

"Mojin: The Lost Legend" (aka "The Ghouls", a title which do the movie no justice at all) is definitely not a movie that you should let slip under your radar. I became aware of the movie because I am a fan of Shu Qi, so of course I had to watch the movie. And let me just say that this movie can essentially be summarized as a Chinese "Tomb Raider" movie, of sorts.

In the 1980s Hu Bayi, Wang Kaixuan and Shirly Yang return to the northeast of China, where they were once stationed in the countryside to attend the wedding of their friend Yanzi.

After returning from the ancient city of Jingjue, Xue Li Yang found that the curse of ghost-eye erythema had afflicted her, and used a strategy to let King Hu Bayi, Fatty Wang and others go to the Longling Labyrinth to find the Dragon Bone Book, trying to lift the curse. Taking risks, encountering ancient mythical beasts, a giant catfish, the iron-headed dragon king, red-eyed wolves that feed on human bones, and fighting human-faced spiders, the road ahead is uncertain, whether they can escape…

Hu Bayi and Wang Kaixuan leading an archaeological team organized by Shirley Yang into the depths of the desert to search for the ancient city of Jingjue. Hu Bayi, after being sent to the countryside for re-education, arrives at Ganggang Camp on the China-Mongolia border. He brings along the only book left in his home—The Sixteen-Character Yin-Yang Feng Shui Secret Technique—and, having nothing better to do, memorizes its contents thoroughly. Later, he enlists in the army and is sent to Tibet, where he survives an avalanche and falls into a giant ravine, escaping death using the techniques he learned from the book. After being discharged, Hu Bayi and his friend Wang Kaixuan join an archaeological team heading to Xinjiang. The group endures countless dangers as they finally arrive at the ruins of the ancient city of Jingjue in the Taklamakan Desert. They enter an underground "ghost cave" filled with deadly traps and mechanisms, seemingly controlled by a mysterious prophet.

After washing his hands, Hu Bayi helped his friend Uncle Ming go to the South China Sea to salvage the pearls. Unexpectedly, he encountered a shipwreck and fell to the bottom of the sea, but accidentally found a thousand-year-old ruins of an ancient country that sank at the bottom of the sea. They went through many hardships and dangers at the bottom of the sea, and finally united to defeat the deep-sea beasts, and cleverly used the equipment in the ruins to escape.

Adapted from the 3rd volume in the novel series "Candle in the Tomb" by Zhang Mu Ye. Hu Bayi, Wang Kaixuan, and Shiely Yang, infected with a curse, embark on a journey to King Xian's tomb to retrieve the Haochen Bead and break the curse. They face ancient organs, ghostly visions, explosive bugs, and a massive salamander.

Ba Yi's team journeys to find Shirley's dad in Forbidden City, facing volcanic tombs, earth otters, traps. They ultimately escape Queen's tomb.

In the 1980s, Hu Bayi, Shirley Yang, and Wang Kaixuan’s close friend, Big Gold Tooth, travels to Wu Gorge in Sichuan to collect antiques. However, upon his return, Tooth mysteriously falls victim to poisoning. To save him, the trio embarks on a journey to Wu Gorge in search of an antidote. But what they don’t expect is to become entangled in a dark murder conspiracy, plunging them into yet another perilous and uncharted adventure.

The story follows the team as they try to raid a tomb made by master tomb raiders. It is set partially in Russia and will involve scenes at Catherine Palace in St. Petersburg.

The film mainly tells the story of Wu Qi, a Faqiu inheritor played by Julat Kutilai, and his close friend Wang Fugui. While searching for the whereabouts of their master, they accidentally clash with Lin Zhenzhen, the daughter of a warlord. Unexpectedly, all three fall into the scheme of the villain Hong Ling. After a negotiation, the three forces enter the tomb with their own agendas. Wu Qi uses the secret Faqiu techniques to locate the tomb and cleverly 破解 (break) the mechanisms, leading everyone to escape death in the tomb.
