The Red Fury

Filmed entirely on location in the Caribbean, this touching family drama tells the adventurous tale of a Puerto Rican boy who befriends a Paso Fino palomino, a descendant of the horses of the Spanish Conquistadors. The young man kidnaps the colt in order to ride in the island horse championships and ends up learning a lesson in responsibility and honor.

One of the pictures to be seen in the machine, for example, was that of a blacksmith shop in which two men were working, one shoeing a horse, the other heating iron at the forge. One would be seen to drive the nail into the shoe of the horse's hoof, to change his position and every movement needed in the work was clearly shown as if the object was in real (life). In fact, the whole routine of the two men's labor and their movements for the day was presented to the view of the observer.

In Turkmen language, Atlan means "mount a horse and depart". Horse is the most important element in the life of Iranian Turkmen. That's why courses are some of the most significant social events in their land, Turkmen Sahara. Turkmen Sahara is a region in north eastern Iran and is homeland to Iranian Turkmen. Ali is a Turkman with his life, like many of his peers', intertwined with courses. Now his wedding depends on his success in courses. This documentary film is about Iranian horses.

Max and Tikkelotje own an unsuccessful theatre company. When Tikkelotje notices Ramon - the faithful companion to Saint Nicholas - playing the guitar and singing, she decides to kidnap both him and Slechtweervandaag, Saint Nicholas’s trusty steed. Saint Nicholas is devastated, but eventually he pulls himself together and goes around the houses to collect the children’s wishlists. An adventure involving assorted people then ensues as he tried to beat the clock to rescue the hapless pair.

Louise, a widow, lives with her son Patrice and her daughter Isabelle-Marie in a house in the country. All her affection is directed towards her son, who is socially dysfunctional but very handsome. In contrast, Louise neglects her daughter, whom she considers ugly. However, their small, obsessed universe is soon interrupted by a blind boy and an elegant fop from the outside world.
