The Careless Years

A raw peak at the contemporary high school experience, entirely shot on iPhones. The film follows an intersecting cast and crew of volunteers that shows that what really goes on in high school takes place not in the classes, but in the halls.

When East Coast teen Mandy Meyers moves to Los Angeles with her family, she's thrown into the fast life at McDermott High, where the pretty girls rule the school and two very different guys want to date her.

The film centers to a high school that is going to be taken over by foreign investor, who plans to turn the whole school into a department store. When all the alumni heard this shocking news, they join in team and return to their school, where the old memories of laughter, love, and friendship are still around, to fight against the take over project and set the beloved school free.

New Jersey teen Daniel LaRusso moves to Los Angeles with his mother, and soon strikes up a relationship with Ali. He quickly finds himself the target of bullying by a group of thugs, led by Ali's ex-boyfriend Johnny, who study karate at the Cobra Kai dojo under ruthless sensei John Kreese. Fortunately, Daniel befriends Mr. Miyagi, an unassuming repairman who just happens to be a martial arts master himself. Miyagi takes Daniel under his wing, training him in a more compassionate form of karate for self-defense and, later, preparing him to compete against the brutal Cobra Kai.
