About the Karabanovs, who continued the work of educator A.S. Makarenko. The 1930s. A tragic accident cut short the life of the Karabanovs' three-year-old son. After what happened, Semyon Afanasyevich and Galina Konstantinovna came to work at an orphanage in the Ukrainian village of Chereshenki. Children from many different places gathered here.
