My Hustler

It is summertime in a blue-collar, marginal district of a city in the South of Spain. Tano, a teenager currently serving a sentence in a juvenile reform center, is given a 48-hour leave to attend his brother’s wedding.

Matías and Jerónimo know each other since they were just kids. Their friendship is a mix of fun and desire, but everything changes the night they go to the carnival and they see how a group of thugs beat a gay performer behind the scene.

Lewis, a gay writer of romantic novels, writes an article on gay issues under the pseudonym of "Zippy Grimes." The reason for this is that he hasn't come out yet and he doesn't want to alienate his mainly female fan-base. The article is a great success and leads to a huge amount of reactions, mainly from other gay men who are leading a double life. He decides to meet a number of these letter writers and eventually is forced to come out.

The younger Jing Nian and the older Lu Sheng have been playmates since they were children. After entering university, Jing Nian has been passionately chasing Lu Sheng over the years showing his true love for him. However, Lu Sheng really can't stand it and dares not face his innermost feelings. Emotions, this pair who are born with a tacit understanding, how should love speak out?
