A day in the life of a group of teens as they travel around New York City skating, drinking, smoking and deflowering virgins.

Meet Joel Goodson, an industrious, college-bound 17-year-old and a responsible, trustworthy son. However, when his parents go away and leave him home alone in the wealthy Chicago suburbs with the Porsche at his disposal he quickly decides he has been good for too long and it is time to enjoy himself. After an unfortunate incident with the Porsche Joel must raise some cash, in a risky way.

Benjamin, a 16-year-old with lousy grades, switches to a boarding school in order to eventually reach grammar school. Adjusting to his new environment is difficult as he has to struggle with being a teen... specially when he falls in love to the school's dream girl, Malen.

Kumiko is now a second year and one of the senior players of the euphonium section. With new underclassmen joining the concert band, Kumiko will have to learn new things in order to deal with awkward and difficult underclassmen. She and third-year trumpeter Tomoe Kabe have been chosen to lead the new underclassmen members. Among the new members to Kumiko's bass section are euphonist Kanade Hisaishi, whose appearances are deceiving; tuba player Mirei Suzuki, who cannot adapt to her new environment; tuba player Satsuki Suzuki, who wants to get along with Mirei; and double bassist Motomu Tsukinaga, who cannot talk about himself. Between the Sunrise Festival, chair placement auditions, and the competition, a number of problems quickly begin to arise.

Resigned to a life of sadness and regret at his hideous treatment of his wife many years ago, Trevor, an aging ex-con, spends his lonely life walking his dog and staying out of trouble. One morning he stumbles upon Melissa, a woman desperate, afraid, and operating on a knife's edge of panic. She's killed her abusive husband and is frantically trying to bury him. Sizing up the situation, Trevor recognizes the pain in her eyes and sees a way to save Melissa, and to redeem himself in the process. But the price of freedom and redemption will be higher than either of them could have ever imagined...
