Along the El Paso-Juárez border, Mexican-American off-roaders forge their identity in the crimson dunes of the Chihuahuan desert. As they navigate their cultural legacy, their passion for adventure faces mounting challenges.

Simon Birch and Joe Wenteworth are boys who have a reputation for being oddballs. Joe never knew his father, and his mother, Rebecca, is keeping her lips sealed no matter how much he protests.
